Master Xianglin (Joe) Li

Master Xianglin Li has initially studied Chen Style Tai Chi under Grandmaster Kongjie Gou from 1984 to 1986, and until moving to Manchester in 2000 he taught Tai Chi at the Central South University in Hunan province, China. Since 1997 he has also received instructions directly from Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei, who is is the 19th generation inheritor of the Chen family and 11th generation direct-line successor of Chen Style Taijiquan. In addition to his training with the most skilful and experienced Tai Chi masters in China, Xinglin has also studied Bagua, Internal Qigong etc. in Xiangtan University when he was in his degree studying period, and later on has been extensively trained with masters from the monastery on Nanyue Mountain and Qigong Master in Zhangjiajie Forest Park China between 1986 and 2000.

Xianglin has set up a Tai Chi For Life School (Previously Tai Chi Benefits School) in 2006 in Manchester to run many Tai Chi classes in North West region to promote Tai Chi to benefit many. He has also run classes successfully for different organizations such as Age UK Cheshire East, Manchester Chinese Health and Information Centre etc. Also he is happy to run short courses, seminars or demonstrations for organizations, events or conferences etc. Private lessons are also available on individual request.
