Title: Tai Chi 83 Form (or called New Frame I )
Details: Chen Tai Chi 18 Short Form was created by Grandmaster Chen Zhenglei, who is the 19th generation successor of the Chen family and the 11th generation direct line inheritor of Chen Style Tai Chi, and one of the Top Ten Martial Artist in China as reconized by the Chinese government. The Form is an official shortened version of the Chen Tai Chi, which contains all the essential elements such as silk reeling engery. It also includes kicking and jumping inside and it is an excellent form for beginners to learn and follow.

Details: Chen-style Taiji Quan 83 Long Form (or called Xingjia Yi Lu) belongs to the series of Chen Changxing’s traditional old Frame series, and was created by the 17th Master named Chen Fake. This style is characterized as extensive, low and stable movements. The feet move in agile steadiness with the body going straight and natural. Keep the internal energy filling the entire body. It takes ward off, deflect, shove and press as its main movements and trample, split, elbow and push as its auxiliary movements. The player mainly uses soft force to overcome the opponent’s attack. Taking waist as the axis, and simutanously turns his/her wrists and shoulders, ankles and knees with his/her chest and waist upright.

Details:The Tai Chi 12 Form is a simplified Chen Style Short Form from Dr Xianglin Li after many years of his teaching Taiji in both UK and China, which is based on authentic Chen Style Tai Chi Old Frame I or Laojia Yi Lu and holds true to all the principles and philosophy of the origonal form of Tai Chi. The Tai Chi 12 Form is short, easy to follow, and easy to learn making it excellent for beginners and people who have limited time. Yet despite its simplicity the form does not compromise any of the principles that have made the practice of Tai Chi famous throughout the world.

Title: Tai Chi in the Gardens
Details: Tai Chi outside in the Hare Hill Gardens are very enjoyable and make you feel much much better than the indoor Tai Chi due to the fresh air, green color, sweet flowers, beautiful sunshire, and lovely birds singing etc. This outside class has been run for serveral years and have been proven very popular each year. In this class we will teach warm up, Silk Reeling energy, Qigong exercises and also Tai Chi 11/ 12 Short Form.
